Skill up on Sustainability in 2024

We are in the second year of our Partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School, which provides free training to the built environment sector, across various topics of Sustainability. We are excited to announce that we have expanded our access level to allow all our suppliers in the supply chain to use their Carbon Calculator. The tool aims to support supply chains with calculating their carbon emissions, and provides clients with a view of emissions embedded in their supply chains.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School hosted an engaging workshop during our 2023 Sustainability Conference, where participants learned about the various sources and impacts of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and were tasked with creating a strategic plan to reduce their own emissions. When we band together and educate ourselves, we can make some serious change happen.

Liz Hancock commented “We are a proud Partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, the relationship we hold is valuable in guiding our own journey to Net Zero.

At our core, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to take care of the planet. Being a partner of the School is a testament to our commitment to this belief. We believe that by working with the School, we can continue to make progress towards a more sustainable future and implement best practices in our own operations.”

Shaun McCarthy OBE, Chair of the Supply Chain Sustainability School commented “We are thrilled to partner with Unipart Rail in our mission to create a sustainable future. We encourage all of Unipart Rail’s supply chain partners to start using the School, so we can help develop a sector-wide approach to sustainability.”
